Next Generation 911 For RV Parks And Resorts

The emergency response systems that exist today are outdated, lack interoperability and don't solve for an increasingly growing problem for emergency response teams; cellphone 911 calls. As much as 85% of all 911 calls today are made from cellphones and existing systems don't provide the necessary caller location data for first responders to accurately respond to the emergency. 911inform has solved for cellular 911 calls by partnering with RapidSOS, ensuring that every 911 call or text made over cellular networks notifies the required public safety personnel of the emergency location, within meters of reliability to more effectively manage the situation.

What Is 911 GeoFence?

911 Geofence is a location-based service using the 911inform Platform. When a cell phone calls 911 from their native dialer within a virtual boundary set up around a geographical location, known as a geofence accurate location information is provided to the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP).

Using digital detailed maps of your RV Park grounds and buildings, including GPS based geofencing of every public area, private space, or parking lot indoors and outdoors. Then 911informs's proprietary software integrates with your phone system, door access system, video surveillance, strobe lights, gunshot detection and facial recognition systems. Once it is installed the link between your facility and responders runs via a private gateway to the cloud and handles vital information even when electricity is cut or your internet is disabled.

Cellular-based 911 initiated calls travel through the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) carrier network. If they originate from within the customers geofenced property, we can provide an alert to the enterprise that a device has initiated that call. This applies to ANY cellular 911 call made from within the geofence by any smartphone cellular device.

This capability is an exclusive feature to 911inform

You pay an annual subscription fee and data-sharing and control features are free to all emergency responders.

About 911INFORM

Connect Emergency Response Teams
With Key Property Personnel
In 2015, the founder of 911inform, Ivo Allen, found inspiration for the company after watching news footage of a recent shooting. Unfortunately, this is an issue that's far too prevalent here in the US, but what really struck Ivo was the fact that many of the victims passed away from the inability of emergency first-response teams to arrive on the scene quickly enough. This was due to a variety of factors, but the core reason was the fact that these first responders didn't have the tools available to them to gain a better grasp of the emergency at hand. They had little to no transparency into the emergency and little to no direct communication with those affected by it. They would often be walking into an emergency totally blind, and in an active shooter situation, this is unacceptable. With new technological advancements in safety and security systems, Ivo knew there was a better way. He went to work on the product and after years of testing, 911inform was formally established in 2018.

About RapidSoS

Working With First Responders To Build
The Emergency Response Data Platform
RapidSOS creates technology that protects lives by connecting people, their devices, and their families directly to first responders in emergencies.

Inspired by the heroic work of tens of thousands of first responders worldwide, our team has spent the past eight years partnering with public safety organizations to build technology that empowers stronger, safer communities.

The idea behind RapidSOS originated in a rural farming community in Indiana, the hometown of founder and CEO, Michael Martin.

After college, Michael chased a career in New York City, only to find himself barely escaping a mugging late one night while walking home. Only a few months later, Michael's father Charlie climbed onto the roof of his childhood home during a major snowstorm, clearing the snow to prevent the roof from caving in.

Charlie fell from the roof, shattering his hip and breaking his wrist. Alone in freezing temperatures and blowing wind, he had no ability to call 911. It wasn't until that evening when Michael's mother Sue came home from work, that she was able to call 911 while frantically trying to warm Charlie's body.

Moved by these personal experiences, Michael spent the next three months cold-calling 911 agencies trying to learn about the challenge. That effort expanded as he attended grad school to develop the concept, working with a growing team out of the Harvard Innovation Lab and MIT Entrepreneurship Center.

Whether he drove 3,000 miles across the country to meet with them, or attended conferences like the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) conference in Tennessee, first responders were eager to help Michael solve this challenge. Again and again, the public safety community would step up to answer millions of questions and test early iterations of RapidSOS technology.

After Eight years and over $100 million of investment, over 5,000 first responders have partnered with RapidSOS to develop the world's first emergency response data platform.

Today we work with over 4,800 emergency communications centers in multiple countries, managing over 150 million emergencies annually with data from over 350 million devices. Together with public safety and our partners certified as RapidSOS Ready, we're protecting lives and empowering safer, smarter communities for all
It's OUR business to keep IMPROVE EMERGENCY RESPONSE and keep you out of court.
